New Sprung Top Guide with bearings for Made to Measure Sliding Wardrobe Doors with soft close.
We are please to announce the launch of a new sprung top guide for our made to measure sliding wardrobe doors with soft close.
For a number of years we have been using a sprung top guide on our Classic made to measure sliding doors, this guide has always been a favourite with our customers for its smooth action. The only problem is that it was not compatible with soft close. The only guide compatible with our German soft close system is an un-sprung version, with 2 non bearing wheels, which did not have quite the same smooth running action.
The new top guide incorporates 2 improvements, the first being that its sprung, and thus moves to accommodate any variations in your tracks, and will always be a nice tight fit. The second advantage is that each of the 2 wheels now incorporate precision metal bearings and a metal inner and outer ball bearing race. This results is a nice tight fit into both steel and aluminium top tracks, and smoother running action.
We will be using this guide on our Minima, Gliss, Shaker and Maxima doors as standard, and it will be provided when you upgrade to soft close for Economy and Classic made to measure, and also when you upgrade your standard sliding doors to soft close and ‘made to measure’ spec running gear.
It may look like a small change, but the quality of action is really noticeable compared to all of the cheaper system on the market, keeping Sliding Wardrobe World ahead of its competitors for both quality and price.
