Sliding Wardrobe Doors on your Smartphone – Sliding Wardrobe World launch their new mobile website!

There is no denying the recent rapid increase of mobile Internet usage around the world and we at Sliding Wardrobe World recognise the importance of being able to provide a smooth experience for our consumers no matter how they are viewing the site.

As part of the ongoing improvements of Sliding Wardrobe World we have released a new mobile version of the site for consumers to access. More of a mobile brochure, then a website, it will enable customers to view the product range, and learn about measuring and installation from the comfort of their smart phone, although for the moment, purchases will still have to be done through the main website. This new mobile site is built upon a fast and stable mobile framework so that browsing sliding wardrobe doors on a mobile device is an easier experience on a smaller screen.

Our mobile site can be accessed though almost all modern smart phones, and iPhone/iPod Touch users can add the site to their home screen to have access to our new ‘WebApp’. The mobile site should make browsing sliding wardrobe doors a lot easier, with access to all the description and information available from the desktop site.

The lack of ‘drag and drop’ on smart phones means we can’t bring the technologies of our designer tools over to the mobile site yet, so orders must continue to be done through the main website, although this could be set to change in the future

When you visit the main site on one of these devices you will be shown an alert whereby you can chose to go to the mobile site. If you still want to visit the main site then you can cancel the alert and it will continue to the main website.
