Sliding Wardrobe Door Soft Close Durability
Our soft close system is tested to 40,000 open and closing actions in accordance with the German LGA Quality Directive, and RAL-GZ430 and DIN EN14749.
Sliding Wardrobe Door Framing
S9 door frames and tracks are manufactured from extruded aluminium. This ensures a lifelong sturdy frame to your door, and will not be prone to damage or warping like some lower quality chipboard or MDF framed doors. They also have the advantage over wood in that they will not bow over time.
Sliding Wardrobe World Top and Bottom Tracks
Top and bottom tracks are also manufactured from extruded aluminium.
Sliding Wardrobe Door Mirror and Gloss Glass
High gloss glass panels are lacquered on the reverse face, to provide the highest quality gloss surface panels on the market. Mirror is high quality silver coated. All mirror and glass panels areClick to show full-size safety laminated to pass BS6206, and Class 2B2BSEN 12600. This ensures that you cannot fallthrough our glass or mirror panels, and if they were to break, then they crack in safe manner.
Double Sided Sliding Wardrobe Doors
Please contact us if you require double sided doors.
FSC Environmental Panels
All our panels are manufactured from FSC certified timber and particle board. FSC is the Forestry Stewardship Council certificate that guarantees our products come from environmentally managed sustainable forests.
Sliding Wardrobe Door Safety
As well as all our glass panels being safety laminated, our bottom wheels also come with an ‘anti jump’ spring to keep your wheel in the bottom track if the door was to jump for any reason.
Dimensioned Cross Section
All dimensions in mm, and are nominal (i.e. subject to manufacturing tolerances).
Triple Track Sliding Doors
S700 is can be used to create a triple track sliding wardrobe or walk in wardrobe installation. Please bear in mind that the single track is only available in silver. The triple track is either achieved by adding a single track to double tracks (both top and bottom) or by stacking 3 single tracks together (usually bottom only).
This means that your rear track will be in silver when the front 2 might be in one of the other colours. This sounds worse than it is. When the doors are closed, hardly any of the 3rd track will be on show (see image to the left). Alternatively you can ask that all the tracks be the same silver colour. Please do this in the order notes when checking out.
The single bottom track is also available as normal surface mount (as shown above) or an inset recessed track as shown on the left. The inset version requires a groove in the floor of 10mm wide x 6mm or so deep. This looks great with wooden, tiled or carpeted floors, but you do have to be more precise when you install.
Angled Sliding Wardrobe Doors – Technical Specifications
Please Note: For Sliding Wardrobe World Angled Wardrobe Doors, you will require a shelf inside the wardrobe for attaching a specially designed track.
You should also note that angled doors do not have soft close, and due to their shape, and nature of the track and running gear; they have a bit more ‘wobble’ than a rectangular door. That said, they are still a great option for making use of that awkward space under a sloping ceiling.
Our S700 Series Angled Sliding Wardrobe Doors can be made to fit most angles, so are the perfect Sliding Wardrobe for loft conversions, attic rooms or bedrooms with sloping ceilings.
The steering of the door is transferred from running gear mounted at the top of the door to a stabilising wheel mounted on the front of an interior shelf, as shown in the images to the left. This shelf can be located anywhere behind the top 60% of the door.
Where the door is angled such that no part of the door is located in the top track, the door is stabilised by two tracks located on interior shelves, as shown in the image to the left.
The hardest part of specifying angled doors is getting the angled dimensions correct. To help you with this, we supply an extra piece of top track that goes down the angled part of the ceiling/staircase. This will cover any minor inaccuracies in the angle of the door versus the angle of the ceiling.
