Q: Hello,I am looking to purchase a sliding door wardrobe, very similar to the pax wardrobes sold by IKEA, unfortunately, the width of the space I have is 1900mm
(as opposed to 2000mm standard ones sold), the depth and height is fine as
standard. I hope you can help. I would like a 2 door, both mirror or one
mirrorred door and one oak door, with two shelves inside and one rail. I am
flexible on this. Hope you can help.Nazma
A: Hi Nazma
The first thing I would point out is that the Ikea product is a flat
pack ‘box’, whereas our product is ‘made to measure doors’ that are designed to
go floor to ceiling and wall to wall, and your floor, walls and ceiling are ‘the
box’. This has the massive benefit of saving, and maximising storage space (you will gain an extra 60% compared to a box).
Please have a look at this page: https://slidingwardrobeworld.com/info-how-to-measure.htm and let us know which best describes your situation. We need to know your ceiling height, and whether you need an end panel.
Also please have a look here: https://slidingwardrobeworld.com/minima-made-to-measure-sliding-wardrobes.php and let me know which design of doors you
like the most (Minima, Classic, Shaker, Minimalist or Maxima)
Finally, you need to decide on your interior. This may depend on budget, in which case we have a great economy option, or take a look at Aura if you require something
more specific. Our interior can be found here: https://slidingwardrobeworld.com/aura-contemporary-wardrobe-interiors.php
We can then prepare you a quote, although our design tools allow you to
quote online, and change the specification to suit you personal taste and your
budget.
